Game Reviews
I adore immersing myself in games during my leisure time. I'm always on the lookout for upcoming Steam sales, eagerly scouting for hidden gems to add to my collection. Here, I'll share my musings and reflections as I journey through various games—triumphs, frustrations, and everything in between. And as a passionate enthusiast of narrative-driven experiences, I'm particularly drawn to games with rich storytelling and compelling worlds.

Watch_Dogs
Watch Dogs was my first game after getting a gaming laptop, and it completely blew me away—I spent 34.8 hours immersed in its gritty, hacking-driven world, and loved every minute of it! The story, following Aiden Pearce's quest for revenge, was intense and kept me hooked with its twists, even if some characters felt underdeveloped. The hacking mechanics were the highlight, making combat and exploration feel fresh as I messed with traffic lights, cameras, and enemy gadgets instead of just shooting. Chicago felt alive, with its rainy streets and neon glow, though driving took some getting used to. Side missions got repetitive, but the thrill of online invasions and digital trips kept things exciting. The soundtrack and cyberpunk-noir vibe were perfect, and despite minor flaws like wonky AI, the game was a solid 8.5/10 for me—an unforgettable first experience on my new laptop!💻🔥

Resident Evil 2 (Remake)
Resident Evil 2 Remake was my first survival horror experience, and it completely sucked me in—I finished it in around 10 tense, adrenaline-packed hours and loved every terrifying minute! The revamped Raccoon City Police Department felt claustrophobic and dripping with atmosphere, blending stunning visuals with eerie sound design that had me on edge the whole time. Leon and Claire's campaigns were both gripping, with just enough differences to make replaying feel fresh, though I wish some supporting characters had more depth. The gameplay was a perfect mix of old-school puzzle-solving and modern combat—every bullet counted, and Mr. X's relentless stomps made me panic in the best way possible. A few minor quirks, like occasional awkward camera angles, couldn't ruin the immersion. Solid 9/10 for me—now I'm officially a survival horror fan! 🔪🧟💀

Raji: An Ancient Epic
Raji: An Ancient Epic completely enchanted me during my 9.4-hour journey through its mythological world! As my first experience with Indian folklore in gaming, I was blown away by its hand-painted visuals - every temple and battlefield looked like a living tapestry. The combat felt divine (literally!) as I chain-attacked demons with Raji's acrobatic moves, though the platforming occasionally tripped me up. Hearing gods narrate my adventure added such a unique storytelling flavor, even if I wished for more character depth. While the difficulty spiked suddenly at times and the runtime left me craving more, the sheer beauty and cultural passion made this an easy 7.5/10 for me. A stunning debut that's left me hungry for more mythic adventures! 🌟🪔⚔️

Black Myth: Wukong
Black Myth: Wukong has utterly ruined me for other games – my 67-hour journey through its mythological chaos isn't just my longest playthrough, but now my all-time favorite gaming experience. From the first thunderous clash of Wukong's staff, I was addicted to its razor-sharp combat that blends Soulslike precision with godly spectacle – every parry, transformation, and spell felt like controlling a thunderstorm. The world is staggering; I lost hours just gawking at floating mountains, decayed dragon temples, and lantern-lit battlefields drenched in next-gen lighting. Boss fights aren't battles – they're mythological operas (shoutout to the Erlang Shen duel that had me screaming). The storytelling leans cryptic, but uncovering lore through item descriptions and environmental details made me feel like an archaeologist of legends. Yes, the camera occasionally betrayed me in tight spaces, and some RPG elements felt underbaked – but when a game makes you grin through 50+ deaths to a single boss, flaws stop mattering. A thunderous 9.8/10 – Wukong isn't just a game; it's the new high-water mark for action RPGs. 🐒⚡️🏔️

Spider-Man: Miles Morales
Spider-Man: Miles Morales swung into my life and completely owned my weekend – I blitzed through its electric 7-8 hour story and loved every second of this tighter, fiercer Spider-experience. Swinging through snowy Harlem as Miles felt even more fluid than Peter’s moves, with venom-powered punches and camouflage stealth adding fresh layers to combat. The story, while shorter, packed emotional punches – Miles’ struggle to balance heroism with personal life hit harder thanks to stellar voice acting (that Christmas party mission lives rent-free in my head). New York’s winter setting was chef’s kiss – I constantly stopped to watch auroras reflect off skyscrapers or web-sling through blizzards. Some side activities recycled the original’s formula a bit too much, and I craved more boss fights… but when a game’s biggest flaw is leaving you desperate for more, you know it’s special. A spectacular 9/10 – short but so, so sweet. 🕷️⚡️❄️

Limbo
Finished Limbo in 3 hours—what a ride. The eerie black-and-white world, clever puzzles, and wordless storytelling pulled me in completely. Some trial-and-error deaths frustrated me, but solving each challenge felt rewarding. The ending left me thinking, and the atmosphere still haunts me. Short but unforgettable. 7.5/10.
—Still scared of that spider.

Titanfall 2
Played through the story in 7.6 hours—wish it was longer, but every minute was excellent. The movement is perfect—sliding, wall-running, and double-jumping make you feel like an unstoppable ninja. The level design is genius, especially "Effect and Cause" (that time-switching mission is an all-timer).
And BT? Best Titan buddy ever. His dry humor and loyalty made me actually care—rare for an FPS campaign. The story isn’t deep, but it’s fun, emotional, and packed with hype moments.
Verdict: One of the best FPS campaigns ever. Short, but zero filler—just pure, high-octane action with heart. 9.5/10
"Protocol 3: Protect the Pilot." 😭

Beyond: Two Souls
Finished in 13.4 hours—and wow, what a ride. This game completely hooked me with its deep, cinematic story. Jodie’s life—from childhood to adulthood, intertwined with the mysterious entity Aiden—felt raw and real.
The gameplay is more interactive drama than traditional action, but the choices matter, and the branching paths kept me invested. Some QTE moments dragged a bit, but the emotional highs (that homeless chapter? The Navajo section? Chills.) more than made up for it.
Verdict: A flawed but powerful experience. If you love story-driven games with heavy emotional weight, this is a must-play. 9/10 – Left me thinking about it for days.

Batman: Arkham Asylum
Finished in 14.2 hours—and damn, this game nails what it feels like to be the Bat. From the second you step into that eerie asylum, the atmosphere is thick with tension. The Joker’s chaos, the chilling inmate interviews, the way the island slowly descends into madness—perfection.
Combat is smooth as hell—Freeflow strikes, counters, and gadget combos make you feel like a total predator. And the Scarecrow sequences? Absolute nightmare fuel (in the best way). The Riddler trophies were just annoying enough to ignore, but the boss fights (except that terrible Titan Joker finale) were solid.
Verdict: A near-flawless mix of brawling, stealth, and detective work. Still the best Arkham game, and one of the greatest superhero games ever. 8/10
"You wanna know something funny? Even after everything you've done... I would've saved you." 🦇

Grand Theft Auto IV
After 64.1 hours in Liberty City, I can confidently say this is one of Rockstar's most emotionally gripping stories. Niko Bellic isn't just another criminal—he's a complex, haunted man searching for redemption, and his journey had me hooked from start to finish. The writing is sharp, the satire is biting, and the supporting cast—especially my man Little Jacob (ya mon!)—brings so much personality to the world.
Gameplay-wise, the weighty physics and more grounded tone make shootouts and car chases feel intense. Sure, the driving takes getting used to, and the lack of checkpoints in some missions is frustrating, but the immersion is unmatched. Liberty City feels alive in a way few open worlds do—even today.
Verdict: A dark, mature take on the GTA formula with one of the series' best protagonists. The story sticks with you long after the credits roll. 9.3/10 – Can't wait to dive into the DLCs.
"Life is complicated. I killed people, smuggled people, sold people. Perhaps here, things will be different." – Niko Bellic 🚖💔

Transformers: Fall of Cybertron
Finished the 12-hour campaign and it’s hands-down the best Transformers game ever—tight third-person shooting, satisfying transformations, and a nostalgic G1 vibe that nails the tone.
Switching between Autobots and Decepticons keeps it fresh (especially wrecking fools as Bruticus), though some corridor sections drag.
The story’s finale and Dinobot reveal are hype, and the multiplayer—while dead now—was genius for its time. 8.8/10, a must-play if you’ve ever dreamed of being a Cybertronian badass.
